Exhibition in Brisbane

Terry is back in Brisbane and is part of an StoryArt exhibition by Booklinks Qld. Here are some images from the exhibition. On until the 13th April.

The overall set up looks good. Terry shares a small space with Tiny Owl (micro publisher) who also create sculptures.

The 2 large prints on the wall frames the Frears model well. Small framed pencil sketches are also on the wall.

At the base of the model, we have some Tiny Book of Sketches for sale, along with some of Tiny Owl’s pieces.

As usual, Faeries of Tasmania tote bags are available.

Both volumes of the books are also available.

Update on Faeries of Tasmania

It’s been a very busy time for us and will be busy for the rest of 2025.

Lady Plummage is still at her desk, writing and gathering research for her third book. It has been confirmed that it will be available late next year.

Terry has been doing talks in Hobart and having exhibitions in Brisbane. He’s finally come to his senses and is moving to Tasmania on a permanent bases, which is great for us. He was flitting between Queensland and Tasmania for a few years and now has decided it’s time to make Tasmania his home. We have so much planned for the future where we will need his visuals.

Lots of planning for 2026. As you can imagine, putting together the books takes a long time and this has taken us away from other things regarding the faeries. Now that Vol 2 is out there, we can focus on other ventures. Lady Plummage’s time is precious, so we need to work around her schedule too.

That’s all for now.

Again, Terry has put together a map. Enjoy!

2025 update

Happy New Year!

Lady Plummage will be quite busy this year. She has book 3 to write, which we hope will be out this Christmas, or 2026 Christmas — this will all depend on how much traveling she does with her faery interviews and general faery research in Tasmania. There is also talks of Lady Plummage traveling to New Zealand as there seems to be some connections to Tasmania and the faeries.

Terry (illustrator for the Faeries of Tasmania) will have a couple of possible exhibitions this year too. We’ll let you know when these happen.

Book 2 is now well and truly out there around Tasmania. You’ll find it in bookshops near you. If you can’t find it, please let us know as we can arrange books through us. Drop us and email here.

Thank you

After receiving their Books or Tiny Book of Sketches in the post, we’ve had a few emails coming in saying wonderful things about the publications. It’s always nice to read that the product has struck a cord with them or have connected with certain faeries within the books. We will continue releasing stories and illustrations from Lady Plummage’s vast archive. But first, book 3 is to be written, edited, formatted, designed and finally printed.

Tiny Book of Sketches

The Tiny Book of Sketches are the sketches that didn’t make it into vol 1 or vol 2 of Faeries of Tasmania for one reason or another.

The special concertina style booklet is printed both sides, which when folded, fits neatly into the beautifully etched wooden box. Each concertina style booklet is numbered and signed by Terry, and comes with a hand printed Faery lino print.

Size of the unfolded booklet is 840mm wide x 85mm high.

There will be only 50 created in this series.

We are taking orders through email at present as the shop is yet to be launched. Please reach out to us for prices and postage to your area.

Cloth colours

The cloth on the hard cover books have certainly got us excited. The texture and how the gold foil sits on the cover look amazing.

Book 3 is still in the process. We are still throwing around ideas whilst Lady Plummage is deep into the writing of Edith’s story. We are possibly looking into creating another hard back.

We have also been talking about a possible kickstarter to help create a beautuful pack. All ideas are up in the air at the moment.

Tiny books – UPDATE

The boxes are beginning to roll in for the limited edition tiny book of faeries. These are some of the faerie sketches that didn’t make it into the first 2 books.

The height of the Tiny Book is 85mm, and when you fold out the concertina style booklet, it spreads out to 841mm.

The tiny book and wooden case will be ready for 14th Nov. We’ll update here once ready.

Tiny BOOK of Sketches

As with many illustrated books, roughs or rejected illustrations never see the light of day. We’ve decided to put ours into a very small book.

Terry had created so many wonderful faeries for our books, some just didn’t make it for one reason or another. Rather than wasting these, we decided to put them into a limited edition of tiny books.

Limited to 50, each will be numbered and signed.

We will let you know when they become available.
